Hospice is specialized care for people living with a life‑limiting illness who choose comfort‑focused support rather than curative treatments. Hospice is appropriate when you have a life-threatening illness with a prognosis of about six months and your focus is comfort and quality of life. If curative treatment is no longer meeting your goals, or side effects are becoming difficult, hospice can help you feel more comfortable and supported. Can I keep my own doctor?
Yes. We coordinate with your physician and keep everyone aligned.
Can I leave hospice if I change my mind?
Yes. You can stop hospice at any time and return to curative treatment if that is your choice.
Do I have to be at home?
No. Hospice can be provided wherever you live, including assisted living or a skilled nursing facility.
